Ceiling compatibility
The Everwood is built for solid wood beam or cement ceilings. It is not designed for joist-supported ceilings finished in gypsum board — those surfaces cannot securely anchor the mounting hardware. Have an electrician fit it, or install it yourself if you are comfortable with basic wiring — it is a straightforward job.
