Safety and installation guidance

Please read this before you tie the braid in: in line with infant sleep safety recommendations aimed at reducing the risk of SIDS, crib bumpers should never be used with a baby under 12 months old, and continued supervision is worth keeping up well beyond that age. Fit the braid tightly against the inside of the rails so there are no loose gaps a child could get stuck in, and never use it with the mattress set at its highest position.

Tie the braid to the rails with the ribbons provided, aiming for at least two firm knots per side (or roughly one every 50 cm), and keep every knot on the outside of the crib, well away from where small hands can reach it.
